What's in the Campfire room?
Campfire is one of five 3D rooms on Micup (micup.gg): an open-air campsite where you sit around the fire as your avatar and talk with friends in a voice channel. The room has 40 seats, a four-player game table, a burning fire and fireflies drifting around it, and the crackle of the logs comes from the fire's spot.

What can you do at the Campfire?
After Cinema, Campfire has the most seats of any Micup room, and it is set outdoors. It is laid out so a large group can sit and talk at the same time.
- Take a seat around the fire and talk. With "3D audio" on, each voice comes from the direction of the person speaking.
- Walk around the campsite with WASD, run with Shift, and press E to sit in a nearby seat.
- Play okey, okey 101, backgammon, chess, Turkish draughts or draughts at the game table while others watch from the 4 watching seats.
- Wave, dance, send an emoji reaction, or type in the chat box to put a speech bubble over your character.

How do voices carry in a busy campsite?
While everyone is seated, distance does not lower anyone's volume; only the direction of each voice changes. The log crackle also comes from where the fire is.
When someone walks away across the campsite, their voice gets up to 9 dB quieter. Within 4 metres they are at full volume, and nobody becomes inaudible, so a friend standing further off can still join the conversation.
How do you add Campfire to a voice channel?
Pick Campfire under "Room theme" in the channel settings. This needs the Manage channels permission in that channel. Everyone who joins starts in a free seat.

How many people can be at the Campfire?
There is no 3D-specific cap on people. Up to 48 characters are drawn on screen and the rest show as profile pictures; walking is on for up to 32 people. The room has 40 seats, 4 places at the table, 4 watching seats and 21 standing spots.
Does Campfire work on a phone?
No. 3D rooms open on a computer, in the browser or the desktop app. In the Android app and phone browsers you join the same channel in the flat view.
Does Campfire cost anything?
No. Entering the room, talking and playing at the table are free. What costs money is most of the outfit parts in the shop.
