What's in the Cinema room?
Cinema is one of five 3D rooms on Micup (micup.gg): a hall where you sit down as your avatar, watch someone's screen share or camera on the big screen, and talk by voice while you watch. The room has 54 seats, a big screen and a projector beam; there is no game table.

What can you do in the Cinema?
Cinema has more seats than any other Micup room. One person shares their screen, everyone else looks up at the big screen from their seats, and the whole room can talk at once.
- Share your screen or camera; others open it on the big screen with "Watch".
- Enlarge the picture with "Full screen", then return to the room.
- Sit back and talk. With "3D audio" on, each voice comes from where that person is sitting.
- Show an emoji reaction or type in the chat box; your message appears as a speech bubble over your character.

What quality is the picture on the big screen?
What plays on the big screen is the sharer's screen share. On a free account you can share at up to 720p and 30 fps, and a server boost can unlock higher options in that server. Micup Plus adds options up to 1080p, 4K and 60 fps; actual quality depends on your connection and device.
Nothing plays on the screen until you press "Watch"; entering the room does not start the stream on its own.
What can you put on the big screen?
Only share content you have the right to share. The Terms of Use treat sharing films, series, music, software, games or images you do not hold the rights to as copyright infringement and prohibit it.

How many people can be in the Cinema?
There is no 3D-specific cap on people. Up to 48 characters are drawn on screen and the rest show as profile pictures; walking is on for up to 32 people. The room has 54 seats and 12 standing spots.
Is there a game table in the Cinema?
No. For okey, backgammon or chess, pick Coffeehouse, Game Room, Night Lounge or Campfire.
Does the Cinema work on a phone?
No. 3D rooms open on a computer, in the browser or the desktop app. On a phone you join the same voice channel in the flat view.
